Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures

Deutsches Seminar

Deutsches Seminar is an informal departmental graduate student lecture series. It provides grad students with a venue to preview upcoming conference papers or thesis work, or just to present on a topic he/she is interested in. All audience members are encouraged to provide feedback on the student's presentation. Lectures occur periodically throughout the semester in the Foreign Languages Building. Refreshments are provided by a faculty member. The faculty advisor for Deutsches Seminar is Prof. Claudia Bornholdt, assisted by grad student Karl Strosche.
