German 103 Intensive Summer Program in Vienna

This Summer Program is a special four-week intensive German 103 course in the exciting and culturally rich city of Vienna and takes place during summer session I: May 14-June 9, 2007. In the course, students continue to develop their German language abilities, as well as cultural knowledge about the German-speaking world, with special focus on Austria. In addition to the four hours of daily instruction (Monday-Friday), the program consists of regular excursions in and around Vienna. In past years, they have included visits to museums and castles, bike-rides along the Danube, and hiking in the mountains.

The location of the program in Vienna, the capital of Austria means that Salzburg, Prag, Budapest, and Munich are all only a few hours away, while a day’s train takes you to Venice or Paris – via the Orient Express.
For more information, email Cori Crane: ccrane@uiuc.edu. A general information meeting will occur in January 2007 (date/time TBA). Click here for the latest program information.
